What we keep, what we don't.
Last updated 2026-04-19 · Plain-English summary first, specifics below.
In one paragraph
Alvanet Web Services collects the minimum data needed to run this site and reply to your enquiry. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers. If you email us or submit the AI Maturity Assessment, we keep your message and any information you chose to share until the engagement is complete, then purge it on a 30-day rolling schedule.
What we collect
- Contact data
- Name and email when you write to us or submit a form. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to prospective clients (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Assessment data
- Your answers on the AI Maturity Assessment, the resulting per-pillar scores, and the timestamp. Stored in your browser's
localStorageuntil you submit it, at which point it may be sent to us by email. Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). - Server logs
- Our host may log IP address, user agent, and requested URL for the purpose of running the site and blocking abuse. Retained up to 30 days.
- Cookies
- This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. The browser may store
sessionStorage/localStorageentries for the assessment (see above). No third-party analytics are loaded.
Who sees it
Only the engineers and partners at Alvanet Web Services who are directly working with you. We use a small number of infrastructure vendors (email delivery, cloud hosting, CDN) — each is vetted and only processes data on documented instructions.
Your rights
Under GDPR/UK-GDPR and CCPA you can request a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for any processing based on consent. Email help@alvanetwebpr.com with "Data request" in the subject and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Data at rest sits in infrastructure we manage with least-privilege access and regular review. We disclose material incidents without delay; see our security page for more.
This page is written to be understandable, not legalese-complete. If you need a contractual DPA, write to us.
